Its been an adventure from the start.

We’ve always had a love of traveling and Tavish and I spent our 1st 10 years together traveling the midwest building log and timber homes & barns. After the last of the kiddos moved out of the house in ‘21 it was time to do something else, and Blacksheep Hauling was born, with the same proven formula for sucess.

Hustle hard, provide exceptional service and transparent operations.

Late in 21 we bought our 1st semi Snoopy, but it turned out to be a dismal start- 3 months in, the truck blew up in Texas, an unscrupulous shop (Chase’s Diesel Service in Odessa, TX) exhausted our savings and left us with nothing but a pile of parts, excuses and mounting bills. Ouch! Lessons learned!!!

After a few months we came back to CO to lick our wounds and regroup, and a few years later had finally saved up the money to do it a again, this time with a new plan- Own your equipment, buy an older truck and rebuild it-know the truck intimately and be prepared for ANYTHING.

And along came Roger, our old Peterbilt-

Formerly an oilfield truck with a checkered past and just over a million on the clock, Roger obviously had some stories to tell, and we spent 6 months replacing, rebuilding and restoring. Jan ‘24 came and with much trepedation, it was time to hit the road again!-

After 12 months and a whopping 210k miles, we’re pleased to report Roger is still chugging along, singing his song!
